Latest Post Deus Ex... Mentis. Epilogue. by Edward Shaddow public

I didn't realise how much my reading had taken a hit till I compiled this list. Usually it far out weighs my novel reading but this year it's taken a long time for my reading mojo to come back. Even finding solice in the quaint manga that I've been enjoying has been a struggle. Mainstream comics (Marvel/DC) just don't do much for me at the moment either. Hopefully I can find some interesting things to read this year.

Single Issues

Note: italics indicates series has ceased.

Highlight: Steeple by John Allison

I love everything John Allison does. He has a great writing style that can turn a perfectly ordinary story into something hiliarious, fun, and deep. Steeple is a slight departure from his usual Scary-Go-Round stories but the pay off at the end of the printed story is well worth it. Plus he's continuing the story online!

Only trying to help!

Graphic Novels/Collected Volumes

Apart from Giant Days and Paper Girls I didn't read much that insipired me in the graphic novel realm. Maybe next year.

Giant Days: As Time Goes By

Manga

I'm slowly making my way through various stories that I've blogged about before. Nothing really new that stood out. Flying Witch is still cute as heck and there are new volumes out so maybe go read that, and Wotakoi.
